Annotation
On the role of logical presupposition and pragmatic presupposition (which E. divides into weak and strong pragmatic presupposition) in speech acts. She claims that conditions on the use of words (e.g. the fact that the use of 'herself' requires that the person talked about is female) and selection restrictions are rules of language which are independent from speech acts. The intention of the paper is to restore some order to the use of the notion 'presupposition'.
