This monographic analysis of the various European plans for a 'perfect' language, categorizes the various projects into four main groups. Group 1 deals with the rediscovery of historical languages considered as mystically perfect; group II covers the reconstruction of languages considered as basic; group III encompasses planned languages; and group IV includes 'magical' languages for mystical effability or secret initiation.
