Annotation

Assuming that heritage language materials are important for supporting literacy, both as a foundation for English-language learning and as a vital part of maintaining and developing heritage languages, this study tries to determine how much heritage language material is available for minority language students in the libraries of a large elementary school district in Phoenix, Arizona. The study illustrates the growing issue of equity and fairness in resource distribution for minority language students.
