Annotation
This paper presents the results of an empirical study that examined the efficiency of oral remedial education to secondary and university students, employing a consciousness-raising approach. Remedial instruction focused on 'pseudo-tough movement', the verb concern and the related adjective concerned, and the connective on the contrary. It is shown that a model of remedial instruction with proceduralized steps supported by explicit rules enhances acquisition.
