Annotation

This article reports on a beginning English second language teacher's coping strategies involving instability-reducing/preventing behaviors. It is argued that providing teachers with self-observation techniques during their preparation would make them more aware of their early teaching contexts, and enable them to recognize and efficiently deal with instability-generating situations, which will lead to both student success and teacher professional equilibrium.
