Annotation

This article reports on research on indigenous Guarani teacher education courses in Brazil, that refocussed towards the study of "crosscultural" interaction as a result of the acknowledgment of the divergent interests of Guarani teachers and the wider political context of the oppression of indigenous people in Brazil.
