Annotation

This study uses a functional linguistic analytical approach, grounded within a social semiotic theory, to examine how knowledge is differentially negotiated between teachers and adult English second language learners at various stages of a curriculum cycle, thus complementing the perspectives of sociolinguistic studies into classroom discourse.
