Annotation

This article shows how a multidimensional corpus-based analysis of variation across three types of texts, namely common composition textbook selections, textbooks used in ecology courses, and professional research articles in ecology, illustrates the complex relationships among academic texts, offering multiple perspectives on differences and similarities in language use that other approaches cannot provide.
