Annotation
This study demonstrates that lexical factors, including word frequency, age-of-acquisition, neighborhood density, neighborhood frequency, and stress pattern, influence lexical access in both typical language-learning children and children with word-finding difficulties. It supports a view of lexical access in which access to words gets strengthened with successful use.
