Annotation
The present study investigates whether Spanish second language learners can acquire Spanish future tense morphology incidentally whilst reading in Spanish, measuring the effects of three variables - the frequency of appearance of the target form in the input passages; the learner-readers' orientation to the task; and cues to meaning- on both comprehension and input processing. The results demonstrate that all three variables have some effect on comprehension and input processing.
