Annotation
This study uses the systemic-functional linguistic framework of text analysis and interpretive commentary from a social-constructionist perspective, to interpret how the norm-developing processes of interaction between 'inexperienced' non-native speaker novice and 'expert' writers are manifested in linguistic and rhetorical terms through the processes of peer review, negotiation, revision, and eventual acceptance of research articles for publication.
