Annotation

This paper examines whether the comprehension and production of spatial terms such as "above", is based on a viewer-centered, an environment-centered, or an object-centered frame of reference. The meaning of "above" doesn't seem to specify a specific reference frame; it is rather the selection of a reference frame during spatial assignment that defines how spatial terms such as "above" and "below" will be employed and interpreted.
