Annotation

This study evaluates Cantonese-speaking secondary-school students' reactions to their teacher's application of process writing in 3 multiple-lesson units. The findings show the complex pattern of cause-and-effect relationships between teachers' and students' attitudes and behaviors with regard to this innovation, and demonstrate how an innovation can be reinterpreted when integrated in a new culture.
