Annotation

This study explores the use of discourse markers in the "layering of voices" in Hebrew talk in interaction, and in particular the exceptions that were not not explained by previous definitions that took into account a semantic and structural component of discourse markers. It is shown that a majority of these discourse markers are used in two subcategories of multivocality, that both propose a voice of second order: constructed dialogue and self-rephrasal.
