Annotation

This paper focuses on interactional processes -including selective use of talk, embodied action ...- via which people, working across disciplines to design things, disrupt and try to change representational technologies for scientific and technical classification. These disruptions, and their implications for representational infrastructure, are a central problem for research on distributed cognition.
