Annotation

F. shows that the notion of 'presupposition' (defined as the conditions that have to be satisfied for an utterance to be used as a statement, question, etc.) is extremely helpful to analyze the meaning of lexical items. He illustrates this claim by presenting an analysis for verbs of judging such as 'accuse', 'blame', etc.
