This book presents a quantitative analysis of some dimensions of the political (im)mobilization in the exciting years leading to the end of British colonial rule (1997) and the resumption of Chinese sovereignty over Hong Kong. The focus is on Protestant ministers’ political (non)participation, and the political alignment between state and church.
