Annotation

F. applies Halliday's (1976: 'Anti-languages') sociolinguistic theory to the concept of 'dialogic' or 'polyphonic' structure. He uses it to analyse Burgess's 'A clockwork orange' and Burrough's 'Naked lunch'.
