Annotation

A reformulation and elaboration, with special reference to poetic language, of what F. takes to have been Sapir's position on the relation between language and 'mind'. The aim is to reestablish the role of the individual, the language-specific, and the imagination, and to clarify Whorf's contributions in this respect.
