This paper reports on perceived ethnolinguistic vitality of the minority Vietnamese-Australian and the majority Anglo-Australian communities in Brisbane, taking into account respondents' sex, educational level, and, for Anglo-Australians, area of residence with high or low Vietnamese concentration.
