Chapter I deals with definitions and typologies; chapter II discusses interference and code-switching; chapter III addresses the measurement of bilingualism and biculturalism; chapter IV presents theoretical considerations related to mono- and bilingual aptitudes; and chapter V comments on the problems of the bilingual speaker.
