Annotation

This study investigates current conceptualizations of conversational turn exchange systems by analyzing the turn-taking features of three-party interactions among Black English speaking children. Turn exchanges appear to be more regulated by the speaker than by the listeners and turn allocation cues appear to be mainly nonverbal.
