This book consists of five chapters: Language, organization and action; Metaphors of organization; Language, knowledge and power; Organizing silence; and Writing, theory and beyond. There is a great emphasis on the relational and/or rhetorical aspects of language and on issues surrounding the role of language and concepts such as power, identity/subjectivity, knowledge/information, gender, and performance.
