Annotation

This study uses the Goldman-Fristoe-Woodcock Test of Selective Attention to compare the speech discrimination abilities in noise of female vocal abusers and female subjects without a history of vocal abuse. It then proposes a possible link between listening in the presence of noise and vocal abuse while speaking in the presence of noise.
