Annotation

Drawing on Bakhtin and on Agha’s notion of ‘cross-chronotope alignment’, this paper explores a Senegalese oral narrative practice which tends to co-occur with the historical present and aligns interactional and denotational texts as coeval through participant and deictic transposition.
