This paper uses the Humor Styles Questionnaire (HSQ) and Coping Humor Scale (CHS) to compare humor styles, coping and mental health between Chinese and Canadian university students. Overall, the results support the theoretical structure and utility of the HSQ and CHS in the Chinese context.
