This study confirms that multilinguals get better at acquiring additional languages the more languages they know, and especially more efficient at learning grammar. It is argued that a rise in the number and frequency of the employed grammar acquisition strategies happens on a greater scale during third language than during second language acquisition, expanding more gradually in additional languages.
