This volume on Himalayan Languages provides an overview of the linguistic research on Himalayan languages and language communities; synchronic studies of individual languages of the region; and topics in historical and areal linguistics, with a focus on the Tibeto-Burman languages of the region, their subgrouping and their grammaticalization processes.
