Annotation

This collection of (selected) papers, presented at the conference on 'Linguistic Evidence' in Tübingen in 2004, deals with empirical, theoretical and computational approaches to different kinds of linguistic evidence. It is argued that by contrasting evidence from various sources regarding specific research questions, one can better comprehend both the status and quality of the individual linguistic evidence forms and their mutual relationship and respective influence on the other.
