This volume unites papers dealing with the subjects of "information structure" and "contrast", starting from the assumption that the information structure is conceptually preformed, and then portioned and linearized on articulation in the dynamic context, mapped onto the syntactic representation through the semantic representation, and ultimately actualized intonationally.
