Annotation

The contributions to this volume deal with cognitive models used by people to handle social identity questions, political and economic manipulation, and issues like the genomic discourse. Showing that the cognitive linguistic technical apparatus can be invoked to examine the different ways in which our social reality conception is built by underlying cognitive and/or cultural models of thought, the volume pursues a deliberate and explicit orientation towards a cognitive sociolinguistics or a cognitive semiotics.
