This volume deals with understanding and misunderstanding in dialogue, in the latter case in fiction and film dialogue and in institutional and non-institutional contexts, from several theoretical viewpoints. Various contributions examine the notions of dialogic grammar and principles as framework for the comprehension of human communication and cognition.
