This Brazilian-French dictionary explores Brazil's slang, in particular with regard to the world of crime (-fighting) and in the cities of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, and compares it with French equivalents. This method is also used for closely interwoven professional and group jargons found in a wide range of social sectors .
