Annotation

This book employs concordance technology and corpora's detailed linguistic evidence to study discursive text characteristics and speakers' communicative strategies. It focuses on the connection between the White House (during the late Clinton years), in the person of its press secretary, and the press corps via a linguistic analysis of the language employed (in press briefings) by both parties.
