Annotation

This study explores the dynamics of language contact with English in an immigrant context, employing data from a variety of languages, including Dutch, German, Italian, Spanish, Croatian, Hungarian and Vietnamese. It examines why languages change in a multi-immigrant country such as Australia, and why some languages are maintained longer than others.
