Annotation
This article discusses the level of English vernacularization in multilingual postcolonial contexts, and how vernacular pedagogic practices are efficient ways of learning and teaching English as a second/foreign language, in particular in India. It then considers the consequences of these points for western-based TESOL-specifically teacher education.
