Annotation

Exploring phenomenology's place within intercultural communication research, this paper, drawing on Peirce's categories of firstness, secondness, and thirdness, and on Martin and Nakayama's (1999) dialectical approach, argues for semiotic phenomenology as a theory and methodology able to handle the actual ‘paradigm crisis’ within the domain.
