Annotation

This study in second language acquisition tries to evaluate the validity of verbal reports in terms of reactivity. The findings suggest the non-reactivity of verbalisation, stimuli and stimulated recall. However, it is argued that stimulated recall's reactivity cannot be treated independently of different factors, such as e.g. the verbalisation type, the stimuli's nature, and the learner-interviewer interaction.
