Annotation

Drawing on textbooks from the Zhonguo Chinese heritage language school in Montreal, this paper examines the construction of power relationships between legitimate cultural knowledge in majority and minority settings and its impact on language minority students' literacy practices in the contexts of mainstream and heritage language schools.
