Annotation

Through the analysis of transcripts of English language courses and social studies lessons in Singapore secondary classrooms, this paper on connected learnings demonstrates how, on the one hand, teachers can make classroom teaching relevant to the outside world, and on the other, incorporate students' prior knowledge and out-of-school experiences into classroom teaching.
