Annotation

This paper argues that immigrant pupils in the Basque Country tend to concentrate in schools following the Spanish language model, which does not enable the acquisition of Basque and contributes to a ghettoisation process. With regard to minority mother tongue language use, Portuguese and Moroccan stand out in terms of the number of speakers involved, which calls for adapted programmes.
