Annotation

This article explores the code-switching practices of two native speaker teachers in New Zealand secondary schools, teaching their respective mother tongues, i.e. French and Korean, to predominantly English monolingual students. A series of factors (-individual, institutional and societal-) appear to constrain their target language use for teaching purposes.
