Drawing on J. Nekvapil and M. Nekula's Language Management Theory framework, this paper argues that macro- or national level language planning may not face language problems within the micro-dimension of a company or region, as for instance, in this case study, in small- and medium-sized enterprises in Lazio (Italy), which leads to discrepancies in the language education system
