Annotation

This study demonstrates that repeated television viewing diminishes initial child developmental differences in understanding and helps younger children to inhibit the perceptual salience of a characters' appearance. However, despite prior exposure, children's comprehension of the more complex causal sequences and the film's moral stay low.
