This paper explores globalization of the world's leading television news broadcasters CNNI, BBC World, and CNBC in Asia, by examining and comparing their programme schedules. It is found that for these broadcasters globalization has become a two-way 'push' and 'pull' process in which local concerns need to be taken into account in programming.
