Twenty years ago, it has been argued by the International Commission for the Study of Communication Problems, that the imbalance in the international news flow, combined with a Western news ethic, results in a skewed image of the developing world. This article uses content analysis to assess how Time magazine's Asian news representation has stood in the light of this argument through the years.
