This content analytic study explores New Zealand 2001 and 2003 press coverage of supportive, neutral, or opposing references towards immunization and vaccine-preventable diseases. The overall reduction in anti-immunization messages may have been influenced by strategies of the Immunization Advisory Centre, opposing misinformation.
