Annotation

This study uses an analysis of Israeli newspaper headlines over a period ranging from 1985 to 2003, to determine the extent -up to 70%- and types of journalistic 'discourse of the future' (Predictable Future, Conjectured Future, Informed Assessment and Speculative Assessment). It then discusses its cultural and political significance.
