Annotation

This paper sets out to explain origin-specific differences, related to (minority) language(s) and education policies, between the first and second language acquisition of immigrant children from Turkey and former Yugoslavia residing in Austria, proposing a new explanatory model that combines socio- and psycholinguistic approaches as well as sociology and pedagog and language attrition research.
