Annotation

This paper argues that the wide gap between teachers' and learners' beliefs about 'useful' English as foreign language classroom activities, in casu in a Hong Kong university, almost certainly exerts a negative impact on learners' linguistic progress, classroom satisfaction and teacher confidence.
